Football is our world! We both play for Voorschoten ’97—Zuilu in Vo14_2 and Alula in Vo12_1—where we train, compete, and push ourselves to new levels every day. Football is more than just a sport for us; it’s where we learn teamwork, discipline, and resilience. But our journey doesn’t stop at the pitch.

Beyond football, we explore other creative passions, from modeling for top clothing and shoe brands to acting, spoken word, and writing children's books. We also take part in educative community programs organized by Ethiopians in the Netherlands, helping us stay connected to our roots while sharing our experiences with others.

Giving back matters to us. No matter your age, you can make an impact. In 2019 and 2021, we collected school materials from our classmates and donated them to children in Ethiopia through the Ethiopian Embassy in the Netherlands. Now, we are bringing our football world into it too—connecting our Voorschoten football community with young footballers in Ethiopia. Recently, we collected football uniforms and balls and donated them to Shala Family Association, supporting young players in need.
